The second edition of UNIRE, the Welding and Other Joining Technologies fair organised by Ficoba in collaboration with CESOL, is generating significant anticipation within the industrial sector. With more than four months to go before the event, 70% of the exhibition space has already been reserved. This includes both companies that participated in the first edition and new ones drawn in by the success of the initial event. UNIRE has established itself as the leading meeting point for the ecosystem of companies that provide and seek solutions for material joining. This year, the fair will once again bring together top-tier exhibiting companies, providing them access to a specialised industrial audience in welding technologies. The fair attracts professionals from industrial sectors in Spain and the Southwest of France, including welding professionals, buyers, and purchasing decision-makers from companies with a high demand for joining technologies.
Collaboration with CESOL and a welding competition with a pass to the world championship
UNIRE has renewed its partnership with CESOL (Spanish Association of Welding and Joining Technologies), a collaboration that has been crucial to the fair’s success as the only professional industrial summit in Spain dedicated exclusively to material joining and its technologies.
UNIRE will also once again host the welding competition aimed at students and young professionals, featuring a special incentive: the winners will secure a spot to compete in the world welding championship, which will be held in Essen, Germany. Training centres in Alicante, Asturias, Cantabria, Cordoba, Euskadi, Huelva, Logroño, Madrid, Murcia, Navarra and Zaragoza are already preparing their representatives for the MAG welding (Process 135), TIG welding (Process 141) and coated electrode welding (Process 111) tests, which are coordinated by CESOL.
Call for Speakers and roundtable discussions
UNIRE has also opened the Call for Speakers. This year, the conferences will be organised around roundtable discussions, where exhibiting companies and industry experts will share the latest innovations and trends in welding and joining technologies. These sessions will focus on current topics and provide a unique space for knowledge exchange.
